Helpful advice for bidders
Below is some helpful advice to buyers on how to go about bidding, buying and collecting:
Auction starts every Saturday from 10.00am.
Viewings are between 3pm to 5.00pm on friday and Saturday from 9.30am
Make sure to take a look at our latest catalogue.
Carry out some research on the goods you are looking for.
Try and view the goods on the advertised view dates as the auctioneer’s descriptions are a guide and not binding to any consumer law.
Make sure you arrive on time and purchase a bidding card.
On average 150 lots will be sold per hour.
Always use your bidding card to bid by raising your hand making sure the auctioneer can see your number.
The auctioneer will make it clear what the hammer price is but he may be quick so be attentive to the hammer price.
Once you’ve won a lot make sure the auctioneer can see your bidding number.
Once you're done give your bidding card in at the office and you will be informed of the overall invoice and how much you pay. Make sure your invoice is signed.
Take the invoice to one of the porters and they will help collect your goods.
Make sure you collect the goods on the sale date or the next working day before 4pm
